Lüfu Meiren

Lüfu Meiren Rose (2022 Binfen: Green-Budded Colorful Blooms with Heat Resistance & Extended Vase Life) Bred by Binfen Roses in 2022, Lüfu Meiren is a charming shrub rose that stands out with its distinctive color evolution, impressive heat tolerance, and long-lasting blooms—boasting 6–8 cm flowers that emerge from green buds to unfurl into vibrant colorful blooms (no yellow-green tones), a neat goblet shape, scentless blooms, and a reliable single-flower life of 12+ days, perfect for sunny garden borders, drought-tolerant patio displays, or long-lasting cut flower arrangements that stay fresh and vivid. Growing 50–80 cm tall into a compact, bushy shrub, it fits beautifully in small gardens, urban balconies, or mixed flower beds. Each bloom is a visual delight: plump green buds gradually open into full, elegant blooms with vibrant colors that add a unique touch to any space. Unlike many green-budded roses, it sheds the green hue completely as it matures, revealing pure, bright floral tones without yellow-green undertones. Its exceptional heat tolerance lets it thrive in warm climates, maintaining bloom quality even in intense sunlight, while the long 12+ day single bloom life ensures extended enjoyment both on the plant and in vases. With no fragrance, it’s ideal for scent-sensitive spaces like offices or bedrooms, and its repeat-blooming habit covers the shrub in waves of color from spring to fall. For best results, plant Lüfu Meiren in full sun (6+ hours daily) and well-drained soil to enhance color vibrancy and heat resistance. Light pruning in late winter (cutting back to 3–5 healthy buds per stem) and regular deadheading encourage continuous flowering. Water deeply 1–2 times weekly, and feed with a balanced rose fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to fuel its heavy flushes. It exhibits strong branching and good adaptability, with easy growth habits that suit both novice and experienced gardeners. This 2022 Chinese-bred gem blends unique color transition, heat tolerance, and long bloom life, making it a must-have for lovers of low-fuss, high-impact roses.
