Lovely Raspberry Rose: 2013 Mitsuru Tanamachi Japan Cut Flower—Bold Pink, Rosette-to-Pom Pom Blooms Meet Lovely Raspberry Rose (日文: ラプリーラズベリーローズ), a 2013 gem from Japanese breeder Mitsuru Tanamachi that’s as delightful as its name suggests! Standing at 90cm tall with elegant stems, this cut flower dazzles with 10cm blooms in a bold, juicy deep pink—like fresh raspberry jam brought to life, vibrant yet sweet. Its magic lies in the flower’s transformation: starting as a lush, layered rosette, it gradually matures into a charming, compact pom pom shape, with outer petals softening into subtle lighter hues as they age—creating a whimsical, multi-textured display that evolves before your eyes. A faint, fresh fragrance lingers, adding a gentle sensory touch, making it perfect for brightening kitchens, dining tables, or casual gatherings—infusing any space with playful romance and Japanese-inspired charm.True to its Japanese breeding heritage, Lovely Raspberry Rose balances bold color with delicate detail: the deep pink petals are rich and saturated, never dull, while the rosette-to-pom pom transition adds endless visual interest—each bloom feels like a tiny work of art that changes day by day. The thick, resilient petals hold their shape beautifully for 10+ days in a vase, letting you savor both its rosette elegance and pom pom cuteness. Its subtle fragrance is clean and fruity, like ripe raspberries mixed with soft floral notes, making it ideal for scent-sensitive spaces or pairing with herbs like mint or basil for a fresh, garden-inspired bouquet. At 90cm tall, the sturdy stems support the full blooms gracefully, whether displayed alone in a minimalist vase or mixed with white daisies and eucalyptus for a cheerful, vibrant arrangement.
