Huo Linglon

Huo Linglong Rose (Blazing Gem Rose) Released in 2023 by star breeder Jiang Zhengzhi of Tianlang Roses, Huo Linglong is a vibrant floribunda that lights up gardens with fiery orange – red blooms that mature into romantic magenta. Perfect for adding bold, long – lasting color to borders, containers, or mass plantings, it’s a low – fuss favorite for beginners and seasoned gardeners alike, thriving in small urban spaces and larger landscapes. This compact shrub reaches 70–90 centimeters tall with an 80 – centimeter spread, forming a bushy, well – rounded shape that needs minimal pruning to stay tidy. Its sturdy, upright branches hold clusters of blooms high, creating a lush, full look that turns heads—ideal for filling empty spots in your garden or brightening up a patio. The 6–8 centimeter blooms are a show of color evolution: tight, cup – shaped buds open to reveal bright orange – red petals that soften into magenta as they mature. While some gardeners note a slightly loose, casual form in full bloom, this “effortless charm” gives it a natural, wildflower – like appeal that stands out from overly formal roses. A faint, fresh rose fragrance lingers gently, and each flower stays vibrant for around 10 days—long enough to enjoy its color shift. Huo Linglong blooms in flushes throughout the year, with excellent disease resistance and easy – care traits. Its self – cleaning petals reduce garden chores, letting you sit back and savor the fiery blooms that keep your space lively from spring to fall.
