Huaju Rose: 2024 Chinese Beauty with Silk-like Petals & Exquisite Ruffled Blooms Huaju Rose—a 2024 release from China’s Jiang Zhengzhi (Tianlang Roses)—is a feast for the eyes, combining delicate pink blooms, silk-like petal texture, and exquisite form with easy care. This 90–150 cm shrub thrives in diverse garden settings, boasting large 10–14 cm cup-shaped flowers with distinct petal veins and subtle ruffled edges, plus a long single bloom life of 5–7 days that lets you savor its beauty longer. Nearly scentless, it’s perfect for scent-sensitive spaces while still delivering stunning visual appeal. Its compact 90–150 cm growth habit fits perfectly in garden borders, containers, or cutting gardens, making it versatile for both small and large landscapes. The blooms’ most striking feature is their silk-like texture—thick, lush petals with clear veins that mimic the elegance of artificial silk flowers, while the subtle ruffled edges and intricate multi-layered curled centers (when first opening) add a touch of sophistication. The cup-shaped form holds beautifully from bud to full bloom, and the long 5–7 day single bloom life ensures lasting beauty in both garden and arrangements. As a Tianlang-bred variety, it exhibits robust growth and good disease resistance, reducing maintenance efforts for gardeners of all skill levels.
