Meet this calm, two-year-old male bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps) — a reptile who genuinely enjoys human company and has the temperament to prove it.
Having lived alongside dogs and cats, he transitions easily into busy households and handles new environments with quiet confidence. Originally from a calm, child-free home, he’s been thoughtfully fostered to broaden his social experience without overwhelming him. You’ll notice how still he sits in your hands — that’s earned trust, not resignation.
Bearded dragons thrive under full-spectrum UVB lighting with a basking spot around 100–110°F and a cooler side near 80°F. They need 10–14 hours of light daily and a diet that shifts from protein-heavy as juveniles to leafy greens as adults. This boy is currently eating dry food. Enclosure size: minimum 40 gallons for an adult.
Rehoming fee: $30. Pickup available at Crossroads Veterinary Clinic in Bellevue, WA. Fees support Limitless Love Inc. and Phytu’s animal rescue work.
