Langmanshatan

Langmanshatan Rose (Romantic Beach Rose: Fragrant Yellow Blooms with Ruffled High-Cup Form) A beloved Chinese cut rose, Langmanshatan (Romantic Beach) captivates with its sunny yellow high-cup blooms, delicate ruffled edges, and pleasant fragrance—all on a sturdy, easy-care 80 cm plant. Boasting 8–10 cm thick-petaled flowers with firm heads, thick thornless stems, and excellent long bloom life, it brings the warmth of a coastal sunset to gardens and vases alike, perfect for bouquets, patio displays, or romantic centerpieces. Growing 80 cm tall with robust, thick stems ideal for cutting, Langmanshatan stands out for its classic yet charming appearance. The blooms feature a elegant high-cup shape wrapped in vibrant yellow petals, each edged with subtle waves that add a playful, romantic touch—like gentle ripples on a beach. Its petals are thick and substantial, giving the flower a firm, long-lasting structure that resists wilting or bruising. A delightful natural fragrance fills the air, enhancing outdoor seating areas or indoor spaces without being overwhelming. The thick, low-thorn stems make handling and arranging a breeze, eliminating the hassle of prickly thorns during bouquet prep. For optimal growth, plant in full sun (6+ hours daily) and well-drained, fertile soil to boost color vibrancy and stem strength. Light pruning in late winter (cut back to 3–5 healthy buds per stem) and regular deadheading encourage continuous flushes of blooms. Water deeply 1–2 times weekly, and feed with a phosphorus-rich rose fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to support flower production. To preserve the high-cup shape and fragrance, avoid extreme heat—provide partial afternoon shade in hot climates. This Chinese-bred gem blends sunny charm, durable blooms, and easy handling, turning any arrangement into a long-lasting, fragrant focal point.
