It reaches 120cm high and 90cm wide, bearing cupped blooms 8–10cm across with 40–60 petals. Buds open pearly pink, fading to pale cream and creamy pink at maturity, revealing golden stamens. It carries a moderate scent blending lemon, old rose and myrrh. Almost thornless smooth stems bear glossy blue-tinged green foliage. It repeats blooms until first frost, features good self-cleaning, moderate disease resistance (watch for blackspot), and performs fairly well in rain yet is sensitive to intense sun. Named for Shakespeare’s tragic heroine from Othello, it has earned multiple international rose trial awards: 2022 Silver Medal at Gifu Rose Trials, 2021 Bronze at Australian National Rose Trials, and 2018 Bronze at Nagaoka International Fragrance Rose Trials.
