The Caf Lat Rose, a remarkable cut – flower rose variety, was cultivated in New Zealand in 2005. Standing at 100 cm tall, it features excellent branching and a fast – growing nature. With its shiny leaves, this robust plant is highly disease – resistant. The flowers, boasting a diameter of 8 – 10 cm, are a stunning coffee – brown color. Their 15 – 25 double petals are arranged in a unique double – helical pattern at the center. The blooms offer a charming myrrh fragrance and have a single – bloom duration of about a week. They repeat – flower profusely across multiple seasons. What sets the Caf Lat Rose apart is its color stability. Even in the heat of summer, while the brown hue may lighten slightly, it never transforms into yellow or pink like some other brown – toned rose varieties, demonstrating great heat tolerance. Ideal for both courtyard planting and use as cut flowers, it’s a wonderful addition to any garden or floral arrangement.
