If you’ve ever watched a flock move across a yard with quick, purposeful energy, you’ll recognize the Rose Comb Brown Leghorn the moment it arrives. This uncommon heritage breed carries the classic Leghorn efficiency — steady white egg production, a lean build, and an alert, active temperament that keeps it naturally aware of its surroundings. The rose comb variety is particularly well-suited to cooler climates, making it a thoughtful choice for Pacific Northwest backyard flocks and small homesteads alike.
Chicks are hatchery-sourced and available February through early July. Order minimums apply: 25 chicks January–March, 15 in April, 6 in May–September, or 6 for Webster City hatchery pickup. Live birds ship via USPS Priority Mail (typically 2–3 business days); regional door-to-door delivery is available in parts of the Midwest. A Live Arrival and 48-Hour Livability Guarantee is included — report any concerns by phone within 48 hours of arrival.
Have your brooder fully set up before they arrive. Changes or cancellations must be made by noon Central on the Friday before your scheduled delivery. All live-animal sales are final once fulfillment is booked.
